Subject: [Connectsihie] Important Opportunity for Physicians

The Health Information Exchange of Southern Illinois (HIESI) is hosting
nine events for Physicians in southern Illinois. During these dinners a
presentation will be led by members of the HIESI that will cover: 

 

*      The timelines for available ARRA incentives/penalties

*      The criteria for achieving "Meaningful Use"

*      Physician EHR rationale for adoption

*      What physicians want - basic EHR functionality

*      Considerations for selecting and implementing EHR technology

*      Health Information Exchange and the HIE of Southern Illinois. 

 

We need your help to get the word out about these important events. I
have attached an invitation/RSVP form for these events. I would like to
ask each of you to help us ensure the physicians in the region get this
